In what was once known as Zaire figure , the Kongo figure people crafted a peculiar figurine. This figure creation depicts a man standing with an oversized head, and an open-mouth figure adorned with glazed eyes and a single arm lifted upward figure . The entirety of the being is uniquely perforated with an irregular arrangement of iron nails and other objects that seem to bear a mix of organic and ferrous attributes (as shown below). The most crucial aspect of the artistic piece is the chest, which contains two protrusions that contain magical elements. This component is considered to be the most spiritually powerful part of the sculpture, as it is where the bilongo's mystical energy is stored. The Democratic Republic of the Congo, Angola and the Congo are home to the Bakongo or Kongo people.
