This African Toma mask from Guinea/Liberia features a twin-horn crest, brass-inlay panels and an elegant yet powerful carved wooden form. Measuring approximately 31.3 cm × 11.3 cm × 6 cm (12.3″ × 4.4″ × 2.3″), it was used in the Poro initiation rituals of the Toma people, representing the forest spirit Landai and ancestral power. The dark patina and instrumented metal inserts highlight its ceremonial use and tribal heritage. A rare example of authentic West African ritual art for wall display or collection.
