Sunken mask eyes peer out from beneath a domed forehead of a carved mask made from wood and pigment, the nose ridged and prominent before running down to the gaping mouth where teeth lay exposed. Holes have been perforated around the sides for the purpose of attachment to a dancer, and the mask itself has been raised upon a mount that was bespoke and designed just for it.
